The second is an Athlete Leadership Academy we are hosting at Otterbein on
Saturday, July 11th.
Our inaugural Athlete Leadership Academy is being held on July 11, 2026 at
Otterbein University. This academy supports current Athlete Leaders as well
as athletes new to the Athlete Leadership Program. Participants
will attend courses in one of the following:
Leadership Fundamentals
Event Planning and Management
Sports Fundamentals and Management
Health Leadership
Visual Art and Design
Storytelling and Marketing
We are looking for volunteers to fill three specific roles:
– Unified Partners (Full-Day Commitment): You will be paired with two
athletes to serve as their learning partner for the day, actively
participating in classroom activities and supporting their coursework.

– Class Hosts (Half-Day or Full-Day): Assist instructors with classroom
duties, manage supplies, and help guide students to and from their sessions.

– Registration Team (2-Hour to Half-Day): Help with morning check-in and
directional wayfinding as athletes arrive on campus.
