In 2014, the Knights of Columbus set new charitable giving records by donating over $173,000,000 and volunteering more than 71.5 million hours of service.

Measure Up Campaign for Developmentally Disabled

Chris Damo Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a St. Michael School eighth grade student or students who will be attending one of the Columbus area Catholic High Schools starting in the 2016-2017 school year. The applicant must be a current 8th grade student at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School, and must be the son or daughter of an active member of a Knights of Columbus council. Read more…

Pennies For Heaven

Through both “pass-the-hat” collections at our monthly meetings, as well as collections after Mass, our council collects pocket change for the support of priestly vocations. Our efforts are combined with those of other councils in our diocese, and 100% of the funds collected go directly to the aid of seminarians.

Honor Flight

Honor Flight’s goal is to honor our nation’s senior veterans with a trip to Washington, D.C. to visit their war memorials at no cost to them. Read more…

Sub-Zero Mission

The Sub Zero Mission believes that nobody should freeze to death in America so we are helping homeless stay warm during winter months. The volunteers of this organization deliver sleeping bags, tents, jackets, gloves and other warming items to homeless in northeast Ohio and other regions from November into March. Read more…

Other Causes

In 2017, Knights of Columbus Council 11445 donated over $23,000 to various causes, as well as activities, projects, and other needs of St. Michael the Archangel parish. This ranged from $250 to sponsor the annual Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference and $500 for the Right to Life dinner, to $8,000 for automatic doors to be installed in Marian Hall and $4,500 for new cassocks and surpluses for the altar servers.

Our Council’s Knights also participate in or organize diaper drives for Pregnancy Health Center, 40 Days for Life, Memorial Day Flags at Resurrection Cemetery, Fifth Sunday Rosary Day, World Day Prayer for Peace, Consecration of the Holy Family, as well as provide volunteers for Special Olympic events, the St. Michael Festival, St. Michael School, and more.
