There are two great reasons to attend the June 8 Council Business Meeting:
1. Presentation of Fr. Johnstone’s new vestments
2. Election of new officers
Regarding #1, you may remember that our Council funded the purchase of a
set of vestments for our parochial vicar. They were handmade in Italy and
finally arrived this week. Given that Fr. Johnstone takes a new assignment
in July, this will likely be his last meeting. It would be great if we had
strong attendance as we present him with this memorable gift.
Regarding #2, Grand Knight LaMorte will be handing over the gavel to a new
GK. Since there are multiple nominations for that office there will be a
vote to choose our next leader. Please attend and make your voice heard
about the future direction of the Council.
