October 2, 2021 will be a very, very busy day for the seminarians. During the 4-Miler event, many seminarians will be runners. After the 4-Miler event, the seminarians will participate in their Annual Mud Bowl in the afternoon. Also, many of the seminarians will be welcoming and entertaining their families on campus that day.
The Pontifical College Josephinum and the Friends of the Josephinum send their sincere thanks to our council members for volunteering to assist with event parking for the 4-Miler Run/Walk fundraiser on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
The time of service is 7:00 am to 9:00 am on Saturday, October 2, 2021, rain or shine. Volunteers will be provided bright yellow vests to wear. Event parking will be situated on the parking lots at Crosswoods I and II Office Park, located at 100 and 150 East Crosswoods Boulevard across from the PCJ campus on High Street.
The event is expected to sell out with 500 registered participants. Event participants will walk from the parking lots to the Run/Walk course on the PCJ campus, using the crosswalk at the intersection of Crosswoods Boulevard and High Street. Special-duty police officers will maintain pedestrian safety at the crosswalk.
Our volunteers will assist the movement of traffic from the street to the parking lots to avoid traffic back-up.
Volunteers should meet at the parking lots at 7:00 am where vests will be distributed. At least 8 volunteers are needed.
