The Friends of the Josephinum 4-Miler Run/Walk will be held this year on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in the morning. Last year’s event was canceled because of the pandemic. This year’s event will be held on the campus of the Pontifical College Josephinum.
The Friends of the Josephinum is a group of Catholic men and women who provide financial assistance to seminarians so that their studies for the priesthood are not interrupted or terminated because of financial need or emergency situations. Funds raised by the Friends of the Josephinum are used for the seminarians’ scholarships and grants, books, medical and dental costs, clothing expenses, and a variety of other needs. All funds raised by the Friends of the Josephinum are maintained and managed by the Pontifical College Josephinum.
Since the Run/Walk will be held on the campus of the Pontifical College Josephinum this year, parking will be held at the Crosswoods Office Park across from the PCJ campus. Our council 11445 has been asked for assistance in the following two ways:
1. Seven Knight volunteers are requested to act as parking lot directors on-site to assist with parking on race day. Police officers will monitor the traffic on High Street, but they will need help getting the cars parked once they come onto the lots; and
2. To become a $2,000 sponsor as Council 11445 has done in the previous two races.
