This Saturday – concluding novena to Blessed Margaret

Hello Columbus friends and family

Thank you for joining our family in praying the Novena to Blessed Margaret
for baby Caroline – we truly appreciate the support and love.

We promised a follow up with our plans this Saturday, to complete the
novena to Blessed Margaret of Castello. We’re sharing these plans with no
expectations (the novena prayers are more than we’ve ever expected), but
just in case you felt called to join us. In short, our family (kids
included) plan to attend the 8:15 mass at St. Michael’s in Worthington,
then head to St. Patrick’s downtown, arriving there about 9:30-45 am to
venerate their relics of Blessed Margaret.

Back in January – before we knew about Blessed Margaret – friends arranged
that the 8:15am mass this Saturday at St. Michael’s would be for our
family’s intentions. Since God has a plan long before we know what it is,
we will start there for the mass, and then head down to St Patrick’s (262 N
Grant Ave, Columbus, OH). St Pat’s shrine for Blessed Margaret is at the
rear, and they have a large relic of a piece of her uncorrupt heart that we
plan to venerate.

St. Pat’s will have someone meet us at the Parish office, who can assist us
in the main Church but there are not structured plans. While we are letting
the Holy Spirit guide us on this journey, our guess is that we would be at
St. Pats for 45 minutes to an hour.

Anyone is free to join our family for either/both of these activities-but
again no expectations. Also, once this novena ends on Saturday attached is
the prayer that we plan to pray until Caroline’s birth.

You are all blessings in our lives and we are incredibly grateful for your
friendship. Know that we have also been praying for you and your families
during this time.

Blessed Margaret of Castello–pray for us.
