I would like to find a person, perhaps a mother or other relation of one of brother knights. Someone who is obviously trustworthy. I would like to have this person spend about 10-12 hours a week with my wife Maureen. As you know she has Alzheimer’s. At this stage, she is very personable and easy to get along with but she does need someone with her at all times because she does get confused at times,
I just need someone who is friendly, caring, responsible and flexible with their schedule. The person needs to be with her mostly because I drive with Uber a couple of days a week. I also need a break at times from caring for her.
I can pay this person $12.00 per hour. This will be covered by long term care insurance.
