The annual Flags for Vets event is scheduled for 1:30 PM, Saturday, May 25, Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, US 23 just north of Delaware/Franklin county line. This work involves teams of 6-10 people making sure that their assigned 50-60 veteran gravesites have flags. We will be placing over 1800 flags. Teams are pre-assigned and as much as possible, experienced people are given the same general areas. Since teams are pre-assigned, please help us stay organized and pre-register to work the event.
This event was initially organized by Chris Damo, who passed away April 25, 2015. We will have a brief ceremony including prayer to start the event.
