Knights Of Columbus Celebrating Feast Day Of St. Michael On Sunday (9/30)

Brother Knights,
Fr. Dinovo announced that the celebration of our parish Feast Day is being transferred from its usual day of September 29 to Sunday, September 30. He had sent out some emails looking for parish organizations to participate at
Mass in this celebration. Some of our Fourth Degree members will provide an Honor Guard at the 10:30 a.m. Mass and I understand that students from the school are being asked to wear their school uniform to Mass. I have three requests for members attending Mass at St. Michael this coming
weekend.

1. *Wear a Knights of Columbus name badge and lapel pin to Mass.*

2. We currently have 5 Fourth Degree members confirmed for the Honor Guard at the 10:30 a.m. Mass (David Ferkany, Alex Jamieson, Peter Schera, Richard Wade, and myself). *If you are a Fourth Degree member and can attend the 10:30 a.m. Mass, please consider participating in the Honor Guard.* I
understand there is one set of regalia available on a first come, first serve basis. *Please reply to me if you are going to participate in the
Honor Guard*.

3. This last one ia a personal request at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. As our
Color Corps Commander, Chris Fricke, is not going to be in town, I will not only participate in the Honor Guard, but also need to lead it. I usually have one of my kids with me at Mass and the other is in the choir loft. As I cannot leave her alone and having both kids in the choir loft is not a good option, *is there anyone*, preferably with children as she will be more comfortable with kids, *attending the 10:30 a.m. Mass that would be
willing to have my daughter with them during the opening and closing processions? *I will have her with me through the rest of Mass, but I cannot leave her unattended while participating in the Honor Guard. *Please reply to me if you are willing to help me with this.*

Thank you,
Brett Gissel
