Family Rosary Day

Brother Knights please see the below information on Family Rosary day. There are a couple of volunteer opportunities. If you are able to help please contact Chris Sarka at the contact information below.

One of the defining characteristics of the Knights of Columbus is its members’ deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. On Sunday October 14th, at 3PM The Columbus Diocese with the assistance of the Knights of Columbus Greater Columbus Chapter, a Family Rosary Day service will be held at St. Joseph Cathedral (212 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215).

Please consider participating with your family and fellow brother Knights. Help spread the word through your Council and Parish networks. When joining our Order, we pledged to strengthen our faith by leading ourselves, family and friends to turn to Mary as our own Mother, so that she may lead us closer to her Son. What better way my Brothers than to participate in this wonderful event!

If you would like to help me serve, men are needed as ushers, an Honor Guard, and to carry the statue of Our Lady of Fatima.

4 – Ushers (Handing out programs, help people with seating, and distribute the collection baskets at the designated time during the service).

9 – Honor Guard

– 4 in regalia (no swords) to carry the statue of Mary.
– 5 in full regalia

Those wishing to be an usher please plan on arriving at 2:15 PM, those wishing to participate in the Honor Guard please arrive by 2:30 PM.

Brothers, your assistance is greatly needed and appreciated. If you can join us to serve in one of the areas mentioned above, please contact Chris Sarka at 614-546-6357.

Thank you for all you do In His Honor!

Vivat Jesus!
