There are two new features on the website I’d like to tell you about:
Calendar of Activities
You can add the council’s calendar to your PC or smartphone. iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Windows users can just click (or tap on) this link: webcal://kofc11445.com/civicrm?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/event/ical&reset=1&list=1
Android users need to add it to their Google Calendar:
- Copy the URL
- Open Google Calendar
- Next to “Other calendars” on the left, click the Down arrow
.
- Select Add by URL.
- Paste the calendar’s address in the field provided.
- Click Add Calendar. The calendar will appear on the left side under “Other calendars.”
As changes and additions are made to the council’s calendar, they will automatically be updated on your phone or computer.
Email-to-post, reply to comment
If you send an email to , it will create a new post submission for the website. (You need to send it from the address associated with your account on this website.) Your submission must be moderated by council leadership before it is posted. Once it is posted to the website, it will automatically be emailed out to all members of the council in addition to posting to the website. If you reply to an email sent by the list (such as this one), it will be added as a comment to the original website post.
