February 9, 2025

REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING

Grand Knight LaMorte called regular business meeting to order at 730pm and
proceeded with an opening prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.

A motion was made to waive reading and approve the minutes of the prior meeting,
which was seconded and passed by voice vote without objections.

CHAPLAIN’S REPORT:

REPORTS OF OFFICERS:
Grand Knight (Michael LaMorte)

  • Hoagies:
    • $7000 in sales
    • Almost $550 in donations
    • Just around $5700 net profit
    • Up $850 year over year
    • Record breaking year!
    • We sold every single one, thank the Lord and St Anthony!
    • Might need a co-chair to help with Hoagies, see GK after if interested.
  • Fish Fry crunch coming up!
  • Get that 1% volunteer time in!

  • Clergy Appreciation dinner moved due to blizzard
    • Help needed to coordinate, see GK after

  • Addresses main objection with long term care insurance
    • Kicking premiums and such
  • Can accelerate benefit with this rider

    • New program involving council participation and Pastor blessing (pulpit announcement
    • Designate a weekend where Knights hand out materials to men before and after Mass
    • Complete info on cards and return them after Mass
    • Has generated lots of new members
