Brother Tony Schera (Peter’s Dad), who as many of you know was a very active member of the council prior to his health issues, will be participating in an upcoming honor flight in recognition of his Navy service. Please see the note below. Consider writing a note to Tony not only to recognize his military service but also his service to our fraternal organization.
I’d like to forward a special request I received regarding Tony’s upcoming trip to Washington DC with Honor Flight. He is going with other veterans from the Bristol and each will be chaperoned with a guardian. He’s going on March 26th.
Honor flight is asking for cards or letters of thanks and appreciation from friends, family, and others to be written for the veteran to receive that day.
