September 8, 2025

REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING

Grand Knight LaMorte called regular business meeting to order at 730pm and
proceeded with an opening prayer by Fr Johnstone and followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

A motion was made to waive reading and approve the minutes of the prior meeting,
which was seconded and passed by voice vote without objections.

CHAPLAIN’S REPORT:

  • People need to be appointed before their passing, not after their passing
  • Mary’s B-Day is today, enjoy the day!

REPORTS OF OFFICERS:
Grand Knight (Michael LaMorte):

  • Pastor’s discretionary fund, will be brought up under new business on behalf of Fr Dailey ($8779 left)
  • Mass and Holy Hour devoted to the Sacred Heart on Wednesday (Sept 10)
    • Make an effort to show up!
  • Sept 29 Feast of Archangels Mass and hog roast potluck
    • Mass with the Bishop is at 8:15 AM, there is a 5:30 PM Mass (sans Bishop) with hog roast afterwards
  • One final plea for Deputy Grand Knight
    • The graces will come if you step up!

Treasurer (Chris Axene):

  • Cleared balance thru Sept 1: $61956.63 w/ $1.83 interest
  • New 11 mo CD opened, as per last meeting,  balance is $8999.05
