To improve communications between members of our council, I set up a Slack group and the council officers have been using it for the past several months. It’s really helped out with responsiveness and eliminated the problems that come with having group texts. (If you’re not familiar with Slack, it’s like a group text app for your phone, with “channels” for different topics.)
