DECEMBER 2, 2024
REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING
Grand Knight LaMorte called regular business meeting to order at 7:30pm and proceeded with opening prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.
A motion was made to waive reading and approve the minutes of the prior meeting, which was seconded and passed by voice vote without objections.

Grand Knight (Michael LaMorte):
- December: Consecration to the Holy Family prayer cards ordered. We’ll pass out cards weekend before Christmas.
- ASAP Collection signups requested.
- January: Hoagies for Heaven, co-chair and Mass captains requested
- Feb. 15-16 Ministry Fair, volunteers requested for Masses at booth

- New member – Devin Harant participated in the recent exemplification. He’s a new parishioner and his fiancé is a former member of the parish.

Faith Director (Bill Hinger)
- Advent is like a mini Lent. There are opportunities for prayer, alms, fasting like:AdorationMake Holy hour
- Fr. Dailey’s Rorate Masses on Saturdays of Advent at 6:15 a.m., or Holy Family Wednesdays at 7 a.m.
- Pray the rosary outside an abortion clinic.
Life Director (Wayne Lovely)
Second Collection
- 12/7-8 ASAP (Aid and Support After Pregnancy) second collection after Masses, stand at the door to collect (QR code in bulletin).
- Volunteers requested for after Mass

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
- Brother Hinger moved to donate $500 to the Sacred Heart Enthronement Network on behalf of the Council, seconded, discussion ensued regarding organization’s need and Council’s recognition, Brother Hinger moved to table the motion, seconded, motion to table carried unanimously
- Brother Hinger donation to defray the costs to St. Michael and St. Francis DeSales students or attending the March for Life, Financial Secretary initiated a limited point of order discussion to state there is already $1,000 set aside to support St. Michael’s, Brother Hinger amended the motion to request $1,000 to support St. Francis DeSales bus expenses, discussion ensued regarding support for two schools and other high schools;Brother Hinger moved to table the motion to next month, seconded, motion to table carried unanimouslyBrother Hinger moved to amend the earlier motion to request $500 for DeSales and $500 for Watterson. If one doesn’t go, funds go to the school that does
