Brother Knights,
If you remember, I set an expectation that the men in this council would give 1% of their free time every month, or about 2 hours: One hour in service to the Knights, and one hour in spiritual formation working on yourselves. To that end, here are some opportunities for you:
Service
On Saturday morning, October 19th, we are committed to helping the Bridgettine sisters with a fall grounds cleanup. This is a high priority item given to us by our pastor. We are in urgent need some more men to help out, and in particular we need someone with a rototiller who can help turn the soil in the convent’s garden. You don’t have to stay for the whole time, even helping for an hour would be great. A few important notes:
- This is a Buckeyes bye weekend
- The Bridgettine sisters will be cooking us lunch
- If you have a middle-school student who needs service hours, this is a great opportunity

Please sign up so we get an accurate headcount for the sisters.
Spiritual Formation
St. Padre Pio said, “Ahead! Courage! In the spiritual life he who does not advance goes backward.”
As a reminder, we have designated the third Wednesday of every month as Family Adoration Hour at the parish from 6:30-7:30. This month that falls on October 16th.
Another opportunity for faith formation is this month’s Faith By Fireside on Thursday, October 24th from 7-9pm. Thanks to Brother Mike Pivarnik for hosting this month. Seating is limited and we will begin announcing Faith By Fireside events to the parish, so grab your seat while you can! RSVP here: https://kofc11445.com/events/faith-by-fireside-october/
Vivat Jesu!
