Dear Knights,
Thank you for your faithful service and dedication to the Church amid these
unprecedented times! Your faithful servant leadership has brought your
parishes into a deeper encounter with the heart of the Gospel, and here at
Damascus, we are grateful for all that you do to strengthen and build up
the body of Christ.
This weekend at Damascus, the home of Catholic Youth Summer Camp, we will
be hosting our first annual overnight Men’s Retreat. An opportunity for
both fellowship and encounter, the retreat will focus on the theme
Victorious. We will dive into a deep pursuit of how Our Lord’s victory can
reign in every facet of our lives – as coworkers, leaders, husbands,
fathers, and sons. As dedicated servant leaders in our Church, you model
what it means to live out our call as Catholic men. This weekend, we invite
you to be reignited by the flame of faith and equipped for mission.
The Damascus Men’s Retreat will take place this Friday and Saturday, Dec.
4-5, on our campus in Centerburg, OH. The weekend will feature dynamic
keynotes and breakout talks, times of worship, whiskey tastings, cigar
rolling, bonfires and high adventure activities! The cost of the retreat is
$150 and includes meals, lodging, t-shirt and activities. We invite you to
pass along this invitation to the men in your Knights of Columbus chapter
and strengthen your fellowship by stepping into greater intimacy with Our
Lord as a community!
