Brother Knights,
As we celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints, let us not forget that tomorrow is All Soul’s Day. While not a holy day of obligation, the members of the Church Penitent need your prayers all the same. Here are some ways that you can help the Holy Souls in Purgatory:
Attend Mass
St. Michael’s Mass times are 6:30am and 8:15am. If you are unable to attend one of these Masses, you can search https://masstimes.org for one close and conveninet to you.
Say The Prayer of St. Gertrude
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
Pray a Novena for the Holy Souls in Purgatory
St. Alphonsus Liguori composed a novena for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. It can be found here: https://www.catholiccompany.com/getfed/pray-a-novena-for-the-holy-souls-in-purgatory
