We will be assembling subs in the undercroft starting tomorrow morning, Saturday November 2nd, at 9am. To account for day-of sales and issues like miscut buns, we have ordered enough supplies to assemble 612 subs.
To date, we have prepaid orders for 567 subs, 69 more than last year. Of this total, 158 subs were ordered to be donated to Frs. Dinovo & Herge, the Dominican Sisters, and the seminarians at the Josephinum.
We have a fair number of signups to help assemble, but we’re still under our volunteer count from last year, and we have more subs to assemble than last year. We are also in need of volunteers to help with distribution after all Masses. It’s friendship Sunday anyway, so lend a hand with bagging orders while having your coffee and donut. One final note: tomorrow is also All Souls Day. While not a holy day of obligation, some of us will be going to the 8:15am Mass prior to sub assembly to offer it for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. The Chaplet for the Dead will also be recited after Mass to grant those in the Church Penitent a partial indulgence. Please join us.
