I have made some improvements to our website over the past few weeks. Here is a quick rundown:
Facebook & Google login
If you have a Facebook or Google account, you can now use it to log into our website. When you click the “Login” button in the menu at the top of the home page, you will now see icons for Facebook and Google. If you are already signed into one of these services, click the appropriate button. From there it will ask if you want to link to your existing account or create a new one. Click “Link to existing account” and supply the username (in the format FirstnameLastname) and password (your membership number, unless you changed it) for the kofc11445.com website. After your accounts are linked, you only need to use the Facebook or Google button to log in.
Once you are logged in, you’ll see a new menu item at the top: “Volunteer”. This will take you to a page that lists any upcoming events that need volunteers. From here you can select a slot and sign up. If you are organizing an event and need help putting this in place, go to your User Dashboard and click the link Create new Volunteer Opportunity.

- You can subscribe to the Council’s calendar of events on your phone or computer. Here is the link: webcal://kofc11445.com/

(iPhone and macOS users can just click the link. Windows users, it depends on what calendar software you use; you may be able to click the link or you may have to copy-paste it into a “Subscribe to calendar” dialog.
